The Postgraduate Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Devaswom Board Pampa College, Parumala, in association with the Pampa Mathematics Club, successfully organized the **9th Prof. N. Venugopalan Nair Memorial Lecture Series** on **31 July 2026** at the Smart Seminar Hall. The memorial lecture saeries is conducted every year to honour the invaluable contributions of **Prof. N. Venugopalan Nair**, former Head of the Department of Mathematics, whose dedication to teaching, research, and academic excellence continues to inspire generations of students and teachers. This year’s memorial lecture on **”Mathematics and Quantum Computing: A Synergistic Future”** was delivered by **Prof. (Dr.) Lisa Mathew**, Professor, Department of Basic Sciences, Amal Jyotaqaahi College of Engineering, Kottayam. The programme was attended by faculty members, students, alumni, and distinguished guests, making it a meaningful tribute to the late professor’s enduring legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
