PG Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Devaswom Board Pampa College, Parumala, is celebrated National Statistics Day 2026 with an invited talk on \u201cCareer Prospects in Mathematics & Statistics.\u201d The programme will be held on Thursday, 16 July 2026, at 10:45 AM in Ramanujan Hall<\/strong>. The event commemorates the birth anniversary of Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis<\/strong>, the Father of Indian Statistics.

The National Statistics Day celebration was organized by the Department of Mathematics at D.B. Pampa College. The programme included an invited talk, quiz competition and various activities highlighting the importance of statistics in daily life. The student who secured the highest marks in Statistics was also congratulated and honoured with a cash prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
