The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at DB Pampa College, Parumala on 15th August 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Naval Wing NCC, Army Wing NCC, and the NSS unit of the college. The program commenced at 9:00 a.m. with the flag hoisting ceremony by our respected Principal, Prof (Dr.) Suresh S. All participants stood in pride for the National Anthem, which set a patriotic tone for the day. The chief guest of the celebration was Air Vice Marshal P. K. Sreekumar, AVSM, VSM (Retd.). He delivered the Independence Day message, inspiring the gathering with his reflections on the sacrifices of freedom fighters, the progress of our country, and the responsibilities of the youth in shaping the nation’s future.
