The Department of English, DB Pampa College, Parumala, in association with the Literary Club, organized a book release function on September 18, 2025, at 12:30 PM in the Smart Seminar Hall. The event marked the launch of What Am I Made Of?, authored by Sabari Blue, a first-year BA English student of the college.
The book was officially released by M. V. Nikesh Kumar, Senior Journalist, who handed over the first copy to Anupama S. Nair, Secretary, KUWJ Trivandrum, in the presence of the Principal, the Head of the Department of English, and media persons from the Mannar Media Centre.
The event was a proud moment for the Department of English as it celebrated the literary accomplishment of one of its own students. Sabari Blue’s inspiring journey has drawn wide attention, as many newspapers featured his story, highlighting his determination to pursue higher education while working after college hours to earn a living.
The function was well attended by students and faculty members, who appreciated Sabari’s dedication and creative talent. The event concluded with encouraging remarks from the dignitaries, urging students to nurture their artistic pursuits alongside academics.
